Senator Jerry Moran Visits Kendall’s Expanded Facility

U.S. Senator for Kansas, Jerry Moran, stopped by Kendall Packaging’s production facility earlier this month for a tour and chat with employees. Kendall is an essential packaging manufacturer for food and personal care items. During the pandemic, we experienced an unprecedented increase in order volume, as did our customers. Employees proudly stepped up to the challenge of meeting rushed deadlines to help keep shelves stocked.
The visit was one of many stops made by the U.S. Senator to local businesses in the Pittsburg, Kansas area. Moran and Kendall Packaging employees discussed the completion of our most recent $10 million expansion and plans for future growth; a successful employee referral program and partnership with community resources; and company efforts to promote mental health and work-life balance through an on-site fitness facility that is available to employees and their family members.
