Kendall Receives GMI Print Packaging Supplier Certification for Walgreens

MEQUON, WI — Kendall Packaging is proud to announce that it has achieved Graphic Measures International (GMI) print packaging supplier certification for Walgreens. GMI is a quality assurance monitoring firm that validates the process controls and ability to deliver consistent results contracted by Walgreens to manage their private GFSI brand packaging print quality assurance program.
GFSI GMI conducted an onsite evaluation of Kendall operations, which consisted of a print test and printer’s ability in the four key areas of manufacturing:
- prepress
- plate making
- printing press
- post press
Walgreens is the nation’s largest drugstore chain with more that 8,000 stores in all 50 states offering consumer goods and health and wellness solutions. Kendall is now fully certified to produce Walgreens Private Brand packaging.
