Kendall Packaging Hires Plant Manager

Kendall Packaging Corp., a converter of high quality flexible packaging materials, is proud to announce that Mark Werhan has recently been hired as plant manager for the company’s Pittsburg, Kansas facility. Werhan will report to the Director of Manufacturing and his responsibilities will include overseeing plant operations, ensuring the achievement of production objectives, maximizing efficiencies and lowering costs while maintaining the high quality standards that Kendall’s customers have always appreciated.

Werhan was most recently Director of Manufacturing, Custom Films for AEP Industries in Mankato, MN. While there he was responsible for two manufacturing facilities and was instrumental in AEP achieving ISO 9000:2000 Certification within a six month time frame. Werhan has held various plant management positions over the past 25 years, all of which were within the packaging industry. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
